The Hijri calendar is a lunar calendar, meaning its months depend on the sighting of the new moon. As a result, the month of Ramadan shifts backwards by about 10-12 days every year in the Gregorian calendar. Here is an overview of when ramadan 2027, 2028, and upcoming years will start.
